What Selify does today

Catalog

• Photo reading. beta · Add up to three photos per product and Selify fills in the product type, colours, materials, style, fit, features, occasion and season, each with how sure it is. Photos that haven't changed are not read again, so re-runs cost nothing.
• Product facts. Every fact about a product, with where it came from: a photo, a label, you, or your brand brief. Selify suggests facts; you confirm or reject them. Regulated details (material grade, allergens, certifications, origin, age grade) are only published from something you entered and confirmed.
• Listing writer. One writer for the whole catalog, so products in the same family read consistently. Each listing is written from confirmed facts, checked, revised once, and formatted for Shopify. The same writer fills in a new product with "Fill with AI" and rewrites descriptions across an existing catalog in batches.
• Catalog health. Each product shows what is wrong with it, ranked by its last 90 days of Shopify sales. Ask "what needs attention" and get the five that matter most with what each fix costs — or a note that it is a job for you in the dashboard (photos, prices, deleting drafts).

photo reading is beta: it is tuned for clothing today, so other products get fewer details. we are widening it with the first merchants outside fashion.

Channels

• Shopify live · Changes in your store reach Selify as they happen. Selify never trips Shopify's limits and catches up if an update is missed, with a quick check every six hours and a full one daily. New products publish to Shopify from Selify, charged before they publish and refunded if publishing fails.
• Instagram live · Answers DMs and comments. The agent looks the product up in your catalog before it replies, and saves anything it isn't sure about as a draft for you to check.
• Telegram live · A bot for your workspace that answers from your own content in 20 languages, plus a republisher for posting your content to a channel.
• Website widget live · A chat assistant for your own site that answers from the content you've added, with its own analytics: impressions, opens, messages, top questions, languages, leads captured and the questions it couldn't answer.
• WhatsApp beta · Running for one pilot workspace on WhatsApp's official business API.
• Etsy coming · The connection that brings your Etsy products in is built and tested; it goes live when Etsy approves the app.
• Amazon coming · Early work: the connection runs only in Amazon's test environment until Amazon grants production access.

Agents and the console

• Console. Every AI worker has a console: what needs you, what's running, what happened. Each action arrives as a proposal that leads with what it is about — the product, the listing, the reply — and you approve, edit, or undo the latest change in plain words. Proposals that have been replaced fold away.
• Customer simulator. Type as a shopper and read exactly what the live Instagram bot would answer, with the same instructions, voice, guardrails and tools. Nothing is sent and nothing is charged: it looks things up for real but changes nothing.
• Localized prices. A shopper asking "what does this cost in Canada" gets the market price you already set in Shopify, not a guess.

Team and billing

• Workspaces. Owner, admin and member roles, email invitations, revoke and remove.
• Per-outcome billing on Stripe. Every AI action has its own listed price. Tiers include a monthly allowance; paid tiers roll into a pay-as-you-go balance, the free tier pauses. The agent never talks money — amounts live on the billing page and in your usage report.

Apparel extras

• Virtual try-on. A photo of a person plus a photo of a garment produce an image of that person wearing it: in the studio, in an Instagram DM after a shopper comments, and on your site through the widget. Beta: the first render after a quiet spell can take minutes, and the open-source model struggles with hands, colour accuracy and lower-body garments.
• Product photo scenes. Your real product photo is cut out and placed in a generated scene. The product is always your photographed pixels; only the background is generated. Beta: the check that the result still matches your product is conservative and will reject some good images.
